ODLCO will be contributing to the Entrepreneurial and Independent Design Practice panel at the Collectors' Xchange, a discussion forum and design exhibit at the Expo Chicago supported by The School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Collectible Object Studio and Balloon. We'll be speaking with some dear friends and sometime collaborators: Michael Savona, Steven Haulenbeek, David Krell of Shared Practice, and Deborah Coleman of Pavilion.
We're excited to discuss the topic of design entrepreneurship and why it's important. We hope you'll join the conversation!
The Collectors’ Xchange is an unprecedented open and interactive platform for discussion about the communication between art and design taking place during Exposition Chicago
For four days, collectors and visitors are invited to exhort, listen, urge, insist, and imagine along with artists, designers, manufacturers, curators, and critics in a democratic structure that recognizes the audience’s voice as crucial in the formation of a newly relevant and responsive art and design culture.
Providing key reference points for this dialogue between the disciplines and curated to reflect influential themes within contemporary design, The Collectors’ Cabinet exhibits unique and editioned works that support and illuminate the discussions at The Collectors’ Xchange.
